What I do

I work with tv/film companies, nonprofits, universities, churches, and social entrepreneurs across the United States by offering a range of skills and services.

IMPACT PRODUCING

I’ve designed multi-tiered strategies for creative projects that have a mission and a message intending to create durable social change—whether that is raising awareness, changing hearts and minds, inspiring action, changing company policy, or passing legislation.

D.E.I Leadership Development & Education

I’ve created and implemented leadership accelerators that identified, trained, and providing coaching for community organizers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Nicaragua, Australia, Uganda, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Brazil around LGBTQ+ BIPOC rights & dignity. I’ve written & designed accessible content guides & curricula for institutional partners and for the public. I’ve also presented workshops, keynote addresses, and offered private coaching for leaders and organizations.

Brand & Communications

I’ve consulted with individuals and companies to develop strong brands, vision statements, policies, & governance structures; strengthened their audience engagement on social media across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and improved media engagement by managing relationships with publications like New York Times, NPR, CNN, WABE Atlanta, Huffington Post, and TIME.

fundraising & development

I’ve helped non-profits and small companies launch marketing campaigns that cultivate new mid-tier and large donors and investors. I’ve assembled and distributed PR, media, and donor kits for national and local events, meetings, and programs, and organized fundraising events that tripled total donations for various equity & justice-initiatives.

LIVE EVENT Management

I’ve led teams planning and executing national conferences and regional workshops which included project management, outreach and marketing strategy, programmatic design, negotiating with hotels and vendors, setting up registration and guest accommodations, volunteer coordination, & comprehensive event evaluation.

COALITION BUILDING

I’ve facilitated hundreds of public and behind-the-scenes partnerships between social justice organizations, churches, schools, activists, and politicians that have enabled stakeholders with different perspectives to come together and make progress around shared values.
